Applications

Decorative applications for plastics fairing or tanks for motocross, quad bikes and Go Karts; warning applications on heavy equipment and industrial trucks.
If solvent ink is not perfectly dry, penetration phenomena may occur such as to contaminate both the vinyl and the adhesive, resulting in a very high shrinkage and edge curl.

Printing Methods

Printable with eco-solvent, solvent, UV and Latex ink-jet.
Print and immediate cut is feasible. To avoid an excesive shrinkage of printed material an around 0.5 cm of
unprinted edge should be left around the printed image.

Shelf life

24 months, applicable only to the material delivered by Adhoc Viscomm which has not undergone further processing, under the storage conditions as defined by FINAT section 2.5: •       Ideal storage conditions are at a temperature of 20 -25 °C and 40 - 50 % HR. •       Store in a cool and dry place. •       Do not store close to a heat source or in direct sunlight. •       Keep the material in the original packaging until required for use. Pay particular attention to the recommended shelf-life and ensure correct stock rotation

Printing: testing for compatibility between product, printers and inks is always highly recommended before printing the product.

Application Systems and Conditions: it is recommended that the performance of the product be always tested in the actual applications conditions as to humidity and moisture; temperature; substrate state (rough, smooth, flat   or irregular shapes, small containers or very large); direct contact with the substance into the container; applicator technology (hand application, multi headed fully automated at high speed); specific stress on Adhoc Viscomm material once applied (high and/or low temperature, mechanical stress, rubbing, exposure to challenging environment conditions), et cetera.

As Adhoc Viscomm’s products are used in conditions beyond its control, such as those listed above as example, Adhoc Viscomm does not assume any liability for inappropriate use of the products.
